Cassie Hilpman Breecher
Principal Consultant
A veteran of the nonprofit and government sectors, Cassie has spent nearly two decades devoted to strengthening communities through purposeful social impact design. After 13 years of leading funding strategy, program expansion, and multi-agency social impact collaborations at both the municipal and state levels, Cassie founded Beyond Strategy Consulting Group to take her passion for systems change outside of education.
Guided by curiosity and candor, Cassie now helps organizations and collaborations move from vision to action to performance. Her current work includes facilitating the expansion of Arizona’s only statewide collective impact initiative on child safety and well-being, as well as building accountability structures to support strategic plan implementation for Phoenix-area nonprofits.
Outside of her consulting work, Cassie is a proud Flinn-Brown Fellow, volunteers on two local boards, and is raising three young sons to be kind, caring, and sometimes charmingly irreverent human beings.

Collin, the Client Experience and Operations Lead, is committed to strengthening our clients’ journey by developing systems, processes, and timelines that enable collaboration and long-term solutions. Collin operates internally to design, test, revise, and strategize efficient and successful operations, drawing on his experience as a veteran and boosting small enterprises to realize their maximum potential.

Meghan Velasquez
Improvement Assurance Group
Meghan, a skilled facilitator, is passionate about increasing social outcomes through leadership development and organizational excellence, particularly in driving improvement and innovation within public sector and non-profit entities. She believes collaboration, a keen results orientation and a focus on sustainability are crucial to systemic improvement and she uses her broad skill set to guide teams through improvement across each.

Jennifer Dokes
JDD Specialties
Jennifer has written what she sees since childhood. She believes in the power of words to reveal humanity and to explain the policies and systems that impact people. During most of her professional life, she wielded that power in award-winning ways as a journalist, including more than 20 years as a writer and editor on the Arizona Republic editorial board. She started JDD Specialties in 2014 to do more of the same.

Regina Kuvakos
WriteSupport
Regina, a certified scrum master and founder of Write Support LLC, uses her love of writing to tell compelling stories about underserved and marginalized people. As a professional grant writer for more than a decade, she has helped nonprofit organizations secure millions of dollars to support everything from entrepreneurship to worldwide hunger relief. WriteSupport services include grant writing, research and administration.

Bennell LaPorte
LAPORTE & COMPANY
Bennell LaPorte, an event fusion specialist and fundraising expert, is on a mission to save guests from ever attending another mundane event. The founder and CEO of LAPORTE & COMPANY doesn’t simply create events; she orchestrates event experiences. A veteran of the world of not for profit, Bennell helps individuals and brands communicate their unique messaging through the power of immersive storytelling. She specializes in helping organizations leverage the power of event fundraising by creating innovative pathways to engage and captivate donors.

Paula De La Cruz-Fernandez
Edita
Paula leads a transnational enterprise that helps individuals manage the pressures and expectations of academia. Her team has high-level skills in writing, archival research, theory of literature, paleography, academic publishing and career promotion. Paula, a digital archivist and digital cultural heritage manager, has more than a decade of experience as a copy editor on research projects in Spanish and English.
